The IBDB archive is the official database for Broadway theatre information. IBDB provides records of productions from the beginnings of New York theatre until today. Get a list of every production on Broadway, list of your favorite actor's credits or what played at a particular theatre since the beginning of Broadway!

  Background
  The League of American Theatres and Producers is the trade association for the commercial theatre community in North America. Their members include individuals and organizations that produce shows in New York and on national tour; present touring productions in cities from coast to coast; and provide goods and services to the Theatrical community. Cyber-NY works with the League to produce and maintain a number of Broadway related websites including LiveBroadway.com, IBDB.com and Stars in the Alley.

Challenges:
The League sought improved methods to communicate with Broadway professionals, theatre fans and the press community. Part of challenge was finding a method to make a vast amount of theatre information available to the general public through an easy to use, searchable database.
• Communicate to a diverse audience of Broadway fans, professionals and the press
• Convert an extensive Paradox database of theatre data to an easy-to-use web format
• Support current and upcoming theatre productions
• Facilitate constantly changing news and updates
 
Results:
Cyber-NY worked with the League to develop the Live Broadway web site to support current Broadway productions as well as the League's members. Cyber-NY then developed the Internet Broadway Database to make the history of Broadway theatre available to the public through an easy-to-use searchable database (IBDB.com). Since 2001, both sites serve the Broadway community and are featured as a part of the Tony Awards broadcast.
• Improved Communication: The League's website provides thousands of theatre fans and industry professionals with current show listings and historical data.
• Ongoing Support: Cyber-NY built content management systems and database management tools to facilitate frequent updates to the site.
• Winner: Forbes Best of the Web - IBDB.com was selected by Forbes Magazine for the Theatre category of their prestigious Best of the Web directory.
